After the consultation, we’ll return to the office to create a detailed estimate for your project.

Once you’ve reviewed the estimate and are ready to move forward, simply give us a call or send an email. We’re excited to collaborate with you and bring your vision to life. Step 4
Once you’ve approved your project, we’ll schedule your installation. While we can’t provide a specific date right away, we’ll give you an estimated timeframe. Please understand that weather conditions and other factors can sometimes affect our schedule. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
Step 5
We’ve provided you with product catalogs to help you choose colors and styles for your retaining wall. However, we highly recommend visiting a local supplier like Astro Masonry Supply to see the actual materials in person. This will help you make a more informed decision, as colors and textures can vary slightly from what you see in the catalog. The staff at Astro can also provide you with pricing information and answer any questions you may have.
Step 6
A week or two before your project begins, we’ll contact you to confirm the start date and finalize the details of your retaining wall, including your material and style selections. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Step 7
Once you’ve finalized your material selections, we’ll place an order with Astro Masonry. Your materials will be delivered directly to your home. Depending on the size of your order, the materials may arrive in multiple shipments. Please let us know where you’d like the materials placed, such as on your driveway or curb. We can also provide you with an estimate for installation if you’re interested.
Step 8
A couple of days before your project starts, we’ll send you a contract through email via DocuSign for your review and signature. Please take the time to read through the contract carefully and sign it electronically. Once we receive your signed contract, we’ll be ready to begin your project.
Step 9
On the day your project starts, our team will arrive and discuss the details of the installation with you. If you can’t be there, we’ll stay in touch to ensure you’re informed about the progress. Please make sure a water source (hose spigot) and electrical outlet are accessible for our team to use during the installation.
Step 10
Our team will arrive with a trailer and a small excavator to work on your project. These vehicles will need to be parked on your driveway or street during the installation process. The excavator can also be parked on your lawn near the patio area, if necessary.
Step 11
Before we start the project, one of our managers will collect the deposit specified in your contract. You can pay by cash, credit card, or check. Please note that there may be additional fees for certain payment methods.
Step 12
Our typical workday starts around 8 AM and ends around 4 PM. However, depending on the distance from our office and the specific needs of your project, we may arrive earlier or leave later. The crew will take a lunch break midday. At the end of each day, we’ll clean up the worksite before leaving. Our team focuses on one project at a time, so you can be assured of our full attention throughout the duration of your project.
Step 13
Throughout the project, our managers will oversee the work to ensure everything is going smoothly. You can contact our office or project manager with any questions or concerns. We’ll make sure your questions are answered promptly and addressed by the appropriate team member.
Step 14
If you have any questions during the installation process, please don’t hesitate to ask our team. This is the best time to make any necessary adjustments. Once the project is complete, we’ll do a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. We’re here to help and want to make sure you’re completely satisfied.
